The purpose of your site should dictate it's design.....
Critical Eye Communications Ltd
This site highlights the services of a consultancy serving the library, information and academic sectors in both the UK and Ireland. As such it serves as an introduction to the services offered and the design is simple, uncluttered and starkly elegant. The purpose of the site is to encourage a conversation with the consultants concerned.
Glenamaddy Equestrian Centre
This design was already the property of Glenamaddy Equestrian Centre in the form of a leaflet, so we reproduced the colours and style that became a template for the website. The website promotes forthcoming sales and encourages sellers to use more photos and videos, which helps buyers. The website has largely replaced paper-based catalogues.
Andrew S Griffiths
A collection of poetry, published online by writer Andrew Griffiths. Again a largely text based site but with navigation through collections to the individual poems. This site is updated regularly and the navigation reflects the different collections. The option exists on this site to include an ecommerce facility, to allow for the sale of books online.
Jemstone Salukis
This site shows off the beauty and grace of the saluki, using mainly photographs and embedded videos. There is also a blog, which chronicles the day to day reality of life with salukis. This Web 2.0 feature not only allows the author to tell us more of the character of salukis, but it also serves as a hub around which a community of other saluki keepers can develop.
Rookie on the Riverbank
This site showcases articles written about fishing, and as such the design is simple again, to allow focus on the words with no distractions.
